Here I am carving out my place on the web. I have been here one way or another since the late nineties and left my traces all over. In that time I have developed one rule when it comes to my online privacy:

"Everything is public unless I can find very good reasons for it not to be."

It might seem trivial but most take the opposite approach and ask if they really can make this public. It's a mindset. By assuming things private you publicise less.

This website is almost exclusively made up of information from and about me, incorporated from my public presence on other websites. It is in essence a social media mashup that updates itself as my activities on the world wide web continue.
